APES can swim!!! Well some of them got a little cold.

Always knew that APES were very talented; some evidently prefer the warmer climates though. Good Job this morning......here are a few pics for your entertainment.

  12. OK enough with the butt shot complaints. . . . It is kinda difficult to take pictures of people looking for creatures and getting water samples without their behinds in the air thus butt pics. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again even the butt pics!
    Love ya.

  14. We should do alot more of our class time outdoors, it seems only appropriate for APES.

  15. I agree with Billy, except for I think we should spend 100% of our time outdoors.

    Apes Go Swimming

Going to the creek the other day was a lot of fun. Some of us learn by way of lecture, but some learn by being hands-on. And if you did not learn anything from the trip to the creek, at least you had fun, right? I really like doing hands on things like that. It kind of brings the things you read about in the book (or in the River Polluting Bellwork thing we did) to life. I liked it a lot. We should do some more serious observations in rivers and lakes we think would be highly polluted. Travel to Charlotte possibly and see if river quality or creek quality is affected in larger cities. It would be very interesting to see if we went to Charlotte and some random creek would be cleaner than a random creek in Lincolnton, would it not? I think so...:)
