ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see all the steps our water goes through to get clean, but if it goes through all those step why is a lot of water still dirty? I think that's something city officials need to be more czutious of.
When i went to NC State, they took us to Car Water Reclamation Facility and I saw all this stuff in real life. It smells really bad but its really cool with the size of the facilities and the technology that goes into it. Ive played with the fertilizer that they make from the solid waste and saw all the holding tanks. Trucks came in and got the water for irrigation and truckloads of the fertilizer. Its really cool and really a sight to sea.
ReplyDeleteWhat is really neat is the UV treatment that the water gets after the cleaning process is finished and before it is " dumped" back into a stream or river.
ReplyDeletei can see now
ReplyDeletei still don't like the thought of drinking toilet water, no matter how "clean" it is.
